Hello '79ers!

This is the countdown…six more weeks until REUNION!!! It has been so great catching up with some of y'all here and there, at Luau last year, at Carnival, and through emails and phone calls and letters…and the anticipation is building to finally seeing each other and laughing, yakking, partying and playing together on June 11, 12, and 13th!!!

On behalf of the Class Gift Committee, the Development Office, and the 6th, 7th , and 8th graders for years to come, we'd like to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has gotten us this far in our fund-raising effort for the Class of 1979's Class Gift to the Case Middle School. We are very excited that we have almost reached our monetary goal. When we first came up with the $179,000 figure, it seemed to loom almost too large-but we're ALMOST there, with the help of 106 classmates to date.

Now that Reunion Weekend is nearly here, we are envisioning the giant board that they put up in front of the main Luau Tent with great big checks representing the Class Gifts to fund Case Middle School from the 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, …45th, 50th etc. reunion classes. We are hoping that our check will represent the largest percentage of participation from any reunion class in the school's history. We are hoping that we can get another 100, 200, dare we hope 300 more members of the Class of '79 to make any pledge whatsoever, anything that you could possibly spare, to outshine all the others!

And if we can get the participation we're after, then we feel sure we can beat those "7th Graders" (yes, those '84ers...). Click on Forms to download a pledge form.

If you feel inspired to commit to a "stretch" pledge, don't forget that you can pay it over 3 years! And you can put it on your Visa or Mastercard (got any "mileage plus" cards?), and it is fully tax deductible. If your company has a "matching gift" program, you get credit for the total amount. This is our one and only 25th, so let's make it AWESOME!
