2003 Alumni Luau

Decorations Committee Update

Aloha Alumni Luau Decorations Volunteers:

Thank you for offering to help! Our theme for this year's luau is "Boat Days." In order to re-create the festive atmosphere of the cruise ships docking at Aloha Tower, we need lots and lots of flowers and greenery to decorate the luau grounds.

Where & When

The decorations committee will be working beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 13 and at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 14 to transform lower field into the "S.S. Punahou" of the Buff 'N Blu Steamship Company. We need your help setting up the fabulous props, stringing lei, and decorating the tents with greenery and floral arrangements.

Decorations volunteers should report to the "stage area" in the main tent on lower field. We will organize our volunteers and give out assignments at that time.

Wish List

florals and greenery
floral tape
wire
oasis
scotch tape
clear packing tape
  rubber cement

If you are able to donate any of these supplies, please let us know what you have. We will make arrangements to have them dropped off or pick them up if you can't help out on Friday or Saturday. It is important that we get the supplies no later than Friday morning, however, and we will end up having to buy whatever supplies we don't have.
