Luau Specifics

Date: Saturday, June 14th 2003
Report Time: 3:00 p.m.
Location: Dole Cafeteria (Dinner to be served then we proceed to the Luau area @ 4:00 p.m.)
Parking: Upper field area near the tennis courts, track, and chapel

Responsibilities - General Descriptive

The Hospitality Committee's responsibilities involve greeting guests, directing people to their tables, and passing out programs. The members will also present leis to the 50th and older senior level reunion classes and to the trustees and honored guests.

Luau Layout - Schematics

Committee members should familiarize themselves with the general layout of the Luau area (see attached schematic layout). Be prepared to assist individuals with directions to various areas within the facility. Copies of detailed table arrangements, seating charts, and programs will be forthcoming on the day of the Luau (via Susie Murphy by 2:30 pm). Leis will be stored in the Science Building-first room on the left.

• The 2003 Class of 79' Luau T-Shirt (to be distributed at the briefing at 3:00 pm-Sat. 6/14)
• Blue Jeans
• Kukui Nut Lei (ditto as per T-shirts above)
• Tennis Shoes

Additional Service Support

The Food Preparation and Decorations Committees are in desperate need of enthusiastic individuals who are willing to provide support on Friday and/or Saturday. Please share your aloha and kokua!
